Support - HOWTOs
The most important question that can be asked is 'How do I use my domain with DNS Park?'. The answer is a simple one and we're going to show you.
- Signup at DNS Park
Signup with us at not cost or risk to you, and add your domain to our system. When the domain gets added you will find two DNS Park nameservers listed at the bottom of the domain overview. Take note of the nameservers. - Get Your Own Domain (if you don't have one)
There are many domain registrars available for you to choose from, such as www.godaddy.com or www.dotster.com. When registering your domain the registrar will ask for two nameservers for the domain. Provide the two that were listed for your domain when it was added to the DNS Park system. - Modify Your Domain (if you already have one)
If you already have a domain and are using it with another provider you will need to modify the nameservers at the registrar where the domain was registered. The only modification that should be made is changing the nameservers to reflect the ones listed in the DNS Park overview of your domain. While you're there, you can always update any other information as well. - Wait for the Update
Once you've made the changes at the registrar it may take from 5-10 minutes up to several days to update the information based on which registrar that is being used. DNS Park regularly checks to see if all of the updates are complete. - Manage Your Domain
Once all of the updates have taken place, any warning messages you may have received should have disappeared and any changes you make to your domain will be immediately seen on the DNS Park nameservers.
