Did you know that the public Internet standards, such as RFC 2182, recommend that at least 3 nameservers be used for each domain? Sign up for DNS Rescue and we'll add two (2) additional nameservers to your domain.
Our DNS Rescue service is specifically tailored for the systems administrators who already run their own DNS servers. This solution allows you to use DNS Park for one of two scenarios.
As a secondary DNS service, DNS Park can be used to provide additional name servers to your already existing name servers that you maintain. This will further decrease the potential for an outage and give you a better peace of mind that the DNS requirements are being met.
The other alternative use of this service is to use your own name server in a 'stealth' configuration where the root name servers are unaware of your name servers existence. In this configuration, the domain's published name servers, available in 'whois', would be the DNS Park nameservers, and you would quietly manage the records from your own name server with minimal traffic to your own system.
When using this DNS Park solution, the Control Center is transformed into a secondary mode designed so you can easily enter the exact information our name servers need to act in the role of secondary servers without being confused by the other configuration options that are normally available.

All pricing is per domain. Services are valid for one year from date first used. Discounts are based on the total number of DNS Hosting services you have in your account plus the number being purchased. If you have 24 DNS Rescue services in your account and are adding 4 more (28 in total), your price per service will be $4.00.

Excess queries are billed based on actual usage monthly. The price is calculated by using the the largest group of queries possible and rounded to the nearest million. For example, if 21,538,000 queries were used in a single month, the overage charge would be $85. (10 million extra at $48, 5 million extra at $26, and 2 million at $11)
