In the rapidly changing world of technology, we have worked hard to diversify our networks and service providers.
Our servers are located at multiple carrier class facilities. Each of the facilities have controlled climates, battery and diesel backup, and multiple carriers. The Internet providers we utilize include: Time Warner, Verio, Cogent, Allegiance, Williams, MFN, Savvis, SBC, AT&T, Worldcom/UUNet, Level3, Global Crossing, Mistral (UK), and Easynet (UK).
Our Technologies
Security is paramount at DNS Park and we provide a base configuration for your domain that is the most secure by default. Features include:
- Our web management interface is resistant to password guessing attacks.
- Domain management can be limited to certain IP addresses or network blocks by ACLs built into the system.
- Transaction signatures (TSIG, RFC 2845, http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2845.txt?number=2845) are required by default for all zone transfers.
- TSIG may be disabled, but IP based access is enforced. No unrestricted zone transfers will be allowed.
- All systems are protected with firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- All services are monitored for faults internally and by a third party.
We use standards based technologies in order to maintain the most stable and interoperable environment possible. The technologies we use include RedHat Enterprise Linux, CentOS Linux, BIND, Apache, Lighttpd, and Postfix.
