Our Mission

To serve businesses and individuals by providing secure, reliable managed DNS and mail services at reasonable prices.

Our Vision

DNS Park offers a unique blend of services that allows our customers to improve their network availability, better secure their networks, and reduce unsolicited mail.

It is our goal to provide the highest quality DNS services at a reasonable price. More importantly, we continually strive to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with DNS Park and to honor God in everything we do.

DNS is a critical service that every company with an Internet presence needs. We provide DNS services that exceed the average services available from most service providers. We are focused on providing excellent services that you can trust.

Our Goal

One of the core goals of DNS Park is to serve. We serve our customers, the Internet community, and our local communities.

The Internet community benefits from our services as we provide active DNS mirrors for multiple blacklist services including dsbl.org, ahbl.org, and uribl.com. By doing so we can help everyone reduce the amount of junk they receive on a daily basis and help ensure these blacklist services remain viable to the community.

We support our local community by donating at least 10% of our net profits to local churches such as Lakewood Church and Fellowship of the Woodlands. We strongly believe that their messages should be heard by all and our contributions help make that a reality.

Our History

In early 2000, a small web application was written to manage a handful of domains. The intricacies of properly placing all the periods, and incrementing zone serial numbers were always problematic and a better solution was necessary. Something was needed to streamline updates and management. DNS Park was conceived from this small application originally meant to manage a few domains.

It was mid-2001 when it was realized that others may be able to benefit from this application. It was highly likely that if the nuances of BIND plagued our operations that others probably experienced the same difficulties when muddling around in BIND zones. Late in 2001, DNS Park was incorporated and the application was refined and grown to be a more robust solution that was usable outside its initial environment.

DNS Park began serving its first customers in June of 2002 and has been growing steadily ever since. The company is privately owned and operated with no outside investments. It became profitable in 2003.

As the company grows, expansion of its current offerings is key. Providing additional features, better usability, and enhancements to the core infrastructure are the focus areas moving forward. Expanding outside of the core products (DNS and Mail) is not in the plans. By remaining focused on the two core areas it will be possible to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and exceptional service.

This year, the focus is disaster recovery; both for DNS Park as an online service and for its customers. As a company the focus is Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) prevention, mitigation, and recovery for each of the services we provide. From a customer standpoint, the focus is on improving usability and features for each service. These enhancements will make each product more reliable, more intuitive, and more informative.
